Official visit of Hungarian Chief Justice Dr. Péter Darák to Bratislava

Between 8 and 10 September 2015, Dr. Péter Darák, President of the Curia of Hungary and his delegation participated at the 12th Meeting of the Permanent Conference of the Presidents of the Supreme Courts of the Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, the Slovak Republic and Slovenia in Bratislava.

The conference focused on the themes of asylum law and the recodification of civil law.

The participating judicial delegations from the above mentioned supreme courts reported on the realisation of their legislative reform projects in the fields of civil law and civil procedural law and on the challenges and current issues the supreme judicial bodies concerned have to face and resolve in the near future in that regard.

As regards asylum cases, the presidents of the supreme court delegations participating at the meeting gave a detailed report on the relevant pieces of legislation in their countries and on the relevant case-law of their courts.
