Participation of the President of the Curia of Hungary and the Austrian Chief Justice at the XXIII Pannonian Lawyers’ Symposium

The topic of “The movement of currency and capital, the timely legal issues of the financial market and the economy in the Pannonian region” was discussed by lawyers and legal academics on 28-30 September 2017 in the town of Zalakaros. The international conference, organised by the Zala County Branch Association of the Hungarian Lawyers’ Association, brought together illustrious Hungarian, Austrian and Slovenian lecturers, as well as some of the most prominent representatives of the Hungarian legal profession.

The XXIII Pannonian Lawyers’ Symposium was also attended by Dr. Péter Darák, President of the Curia of Hungary and his invitee, Prof. Dr. Eckart Ratz, President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Austria.

The traditional series of meetings of Hungarian, Austrian and Slovenian lawyers within a professional and friendly atmosphere dates back many decades and is organised on a biannual basis. The next symposium will be hosted by Slovenia.
