A nineteen-member delegation of the Specialised State Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Slovenia made a study visit to Hungary, their visit was organised by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Hungary. The Slovenian delegation was received on 13 May 2022 by Dr. Katalin Böszörményiné Kovács, Vice-President of the Curia of Hungary, Dr. Zsolt Csák, Head of the Criminal Chamber of the Curia of Hungary, Dr. Lipót Höltzl, Head of the International Department of the Curia of Hungary and Gabriella Répási, Head of the Communications Department of the Curia of Hungary.
At their meeting, on the basis of a preliminary proposal by the Slovenian delegation, the parties discussed the career path of judges, the existence of possible judicial specialisations in certain areas (drug abuse, corruption, economic crimes), the interoperability between the functions of judges and prosecutors, as well as the means of communication with the media.
